Abdalah

I am Abdallah, the go-to fix-it person at Makubi Safari Camp, ensuring everything runs smoothly for our guests, from lighting and plumbing to general repairs. My passion for working with electricity earned me the nickname “Cable Guy.”

One of my favorite parts of the job is driving to town and farms for supplies. These trips are adventurous journeys through the wilderness, often featuring exciting wildlife encounters. I make sure our kitchen has fresh supplies from local farms and traders, ensuring our guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay.

On my way back, I often spot elephants, giraffes, and sometimes a leopard. These sightings remind me of the beauty and wonder surrounding us daily. When not gathering supplies or fixing things, I enjoy sharing stories with guests by the campfire, creating magical moments under the starry sky.

We also host special evenings with traditional storytelling or local musicians, offering guests a taste of the area’s rich culture. These connections make my job fulfilling. As the sun sets over the savannah, I reflect on the day with pride, knowing I helped create unforgettable memories for our guests at Makubi Safari Camp.
